Lord Jim is one of the best-known works of Polish-born English novelist and adventurer Joseph Conrad (1857-1924). It was firstly published in Blackwood's Magazine from October 1899 to November 1900. Lord Jim tells the story of courage, character, flaws, the ship of life, and thoughts about life in a time when sailing was dangerous and slow.
