Language, Logic, and Empirical Knowledge
This collection consists of sixteen articles vvritten in English by Teo Grünberg, who is one of the most distinguished logicians and analytic philosophers in Turkey. The basic motivation that lies behind the idea of putting these articles together in a separate volüme is the utmost difficulty of access to many of the periodicals in which the articles are published, primarily because of the reason that their electronic versions are not available.
The book is made up of three thematic parts, viz. Language, Logic, and Empirical Knowledge, each involving six articles. In what follows we will explain the basic views that are elaborated in each of these articles. There are some papers written one after the other in a sequential way on the same topic. In such cases the overvievv in question will consist of a single piece which covers the ideas that are put forward in two or more articles in a cumulative fashion.
